what is mailodic?
mailodic provides members with an email account which is accessible via standard email programs (using pop or imap protocols) and webmail (like hotmail or yahoomail). it offers a 30mb email storage box (compare to hotmail's 1mb, shaw's 10mb), a spam filter, away messages, forwarding, no ads, complete privacy, and a few other neat features.
an account costs $5/year. there is a one time set up fee of $2. if any of the operating costs go up (domain registration, hosting, etc.) that may affect the annual cost of mailodic.
mailodic is operating on a break-even basis. i just want to be able to have reliable email access, and this allows us all to get that at a reasonable price.

how to use mailodic
you can use your login and password to access webmail in the upper-right corner of this page.
you can also set up most standard email clients (outlook, outlook express, eudora, entrourage) with your login, password, and with this address for pop or imap mail servers:
mail1.mailodic.com
note: you can also use this as an smtp server address. to do so, you must set authentication to on and use your login/password.
